about Quinton
Quinton D. Sherlock is a born Bermudian and current President of the Bermuda Professional Golfers’ Association. He is the only fully certified Golfzon Leadbetter Instructor on the island. Quinton grew up playing golf and went on to play collegiate golf at Alabama State University. He holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and has lectured in Psychology at universities in USA and Bermuda. Quinton has served as President of Bermuda Junior Golf Association (2007-2012), President of Ocean View Golf Club (2008-2012) and as a member of the Board of Trustees of Government Golf Courses in Bermuda (2011-2012).
For the past 10 years Quinton has resided in Ghana, West Africa. In Ghana, he co-founded an Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that assists less privileged young people with their educational pursuits and introduces them to golf. He has also held leadership roles at top golf courses in Ghana. Quinton has experience as a professional golf player, instructor and golf administrator in multiple countries and on multiple continents.
Quinton has a passion for golf instruction, helping people and Bermuda. He has been with Golfzon Leadbetter since 2022, becoming fully certified in 2023. His ambition is to offer a second-to-none golf learning experience and academy in Bermuda.

As a dedicated instructor, I find immense joy in helping each student discover their potential on the course, whether they're just starting out or refining advanced skills. Every lesson is an opportunity to connect, understand individual goals, and guide players through the nuances of the game with patience and enthusiasm. My passion for golf drives me to stay updated with the latest techniques and training methods, ensuring that my students receive the best possible instruction. Watching their progress and seeing the excitement on their faces as they achieve their goals is the most rewarding part of this journey. For me, being a golf instructor isn’t just a profession it’s a lifelong commitment to the sport and to the people who share that passion.
