Golf in Ghana

In 2015, I was living full time in Ghana, West Africa.  In August of the same year, I moved to a community called Gomoa-Fetteh and launched Ace It Foundation. Ace It Foundation was a charity I co-founded with a friend.  The idea was to offer tutorials for middle school students in the community and introduce them to golf.  None of the first participants in 2015, knew who Tiger Woods was at the time.  The program grew to the inclusion of STEAM activities and hot meals to participants.  In 2023, Ace It Foundation rebranded into Children and Adults Reaching for Education Ghana (C.A.R.E.🇬🇭) and partnered with Fafali.  

I am now spending more time in the country of my birth, Bermuda.  However, the work in Gomoa-Fetteh continues to flourish.  Former participants and a program manager run the project in my absence.
